What the firm is investigating
The firm is investigating whether DoorDash, Inc. clearly and accurately discloses the fees consumers pay, whether menu prices on the platform differ from in-store prices without adequate notice, and whether DashPass subscription savings claims and automatic-renewal terms are presented fairly.
The review concerns DoorDash's layered presentation of service, delivery, and other fees at checkout, potential differences between in-store and platform menu prices, and the marketing and renewal terms of the DashPass subscription. No lawsuit has been filed, and the review concerns whether these practices comply with consumer protection and false advertising standards.

Consumers who paid service or delivery fees on DoorDash orders, or who subscribed to DashPass.
What this means for you
You do not need to do anything to be part of a class. No case has been filed. If one is filed and a class is certified, affected people are ordinarily included without taking any action.
Two things matter later: if a case settles, class members ordinarily must submit a claim form by a deadline to be paid, and a class member who does not exclude themselves by the deadline in the court's notice gives up the right to sue separately and is bound by the result.
