Terms of Use and Disclaimer

Effective September 11, 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and its AI intake assistant, operated by Schwartz & Associates, PC (the firm). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Responsibility for this website

This website is published by Schwartz & Associates, PC. Responsible attorney: Lou Schwartz, Esq.. The firm may refer matters to, or handle them together with, other lawyers; any such arrangement will be explained to you and agreed to in writing. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Do not stop taking a prescribed medication without first consulting with your doctor. Discontinuing a prescribed medication without your doctor's advice can result in injury or death.

Consult your physician before making any decision regarding prescribed medication or medical treatment. Unless the site states otherwise, the drugs discussed on this site remain approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Recall status for medical devices is stated where the device is discussed.

Informational purposes only

The content of this site, including anything the intake assistant says, is general information and not legal advice. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction who knows your circumstances.

The AI intake assistant

The intake assistant is an artificial intelligence system, not a person and not a lawyer. It can make mistakes. Do not rely on it for decisions about your legal rights, deadlines, or medical care. Only a lawyer can decide whether the firm will take a matter. See How the intake assistant works.

No attorney-client relationship

Using this site, chatting with the assistant, or sending a form does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship with the firm is formed only by a written engagement agreement signed by the firm. Do not send confidential information beyond what the assistant or form asks for. No deadline that applies to any claim you may have is paused by contacting the firm.

About the case listings

Descriptions of filed cases summarize allegations made in court complaints. Allegations are not findings, and no court has determined that any defendant engaged in wrongdoing unless expressly stated. Litigation status descriptions are compiled from public court records, notices, and news reports and may change. Court records control over anything stated on this site.

About lead plaintiff deadlines

A lead plaintiff deadline applies only to investors who wish to ask the court to appoint them lead plaintiff under 15 U.S.C. §§ 77z-1(a)(3) and 78u-4(a)(3). It runs 60 days from publication of the statutory notice. You do not need to take any action by that date to remain a member of any class that may be certified. Deadlines on this site are compiled from public notices and dockets and are not verified against the statutory notice; confirm the operative deadline on the court docket before relying on it.

Fees and recoveries

Reviewing a submission costs nothing and creates no obligation. Contingent attorneys' fees refers only to those fees charged by attorneys for their legal services. Such fees are not permitted in all types of cases. Court costs and other additional expenses of legal action usually must be paid by the client. In a class action, attorneys' fees are paid from any recovery and are subject to court approval.

Being a member of a class is not the same as receiving payment. Class members ordinarily must submit a claim by a stated deadline to receive money from a settlement, and a class member who does not exclude themselves by the deadline in the court's notice is bound by the result and gives up the right to sue separately.

Jurisdiction

Lou Schwartz is admitted to practice in Georgia. The firm does not seek to represent anyone in a jurisdiction where this website does not comply with applicable rules of professional conduct.
